Wedding of Anna & Gavin at Gileston Manor. Saturday April 30. 2022

This was a momentous day for Risca Male Choir! Our first “proper performance” as a full choir for two and a half years. The bride and groom looked fabulous, as did the choir in their white tuxedos and bow ties.

It was truly a feeling of celebration, obviously so for the bridal party but also for the guys, being given a chance to perform to a very appreciative audience in the gardens of Gileston Manor near Rhoose.

The audience willingly and lustily joined in with the numbers that they knew, such as Cwm Rhondda and the Welsh National Anthem which closed the choir’s contribution.

Well done guys. It was a great performance and great to be back!

I think I am finally coming down off Cloud 9 after the most perfect day I could ever have wished for my little girl & her amazing new husband.
The whole day was truly a dream come true for us all & enhanced in no small way by your wonderful choir.
Many of our guests have commented on what a wonderful surprise it was to be entertained in such an amazing manner in such wonderful surroundings.
All in all we could not have wished for more & thank everyone in the choir for making it all the more special.
I’m sure you have a busy season ahead & Mark & I both look forward to hearing you all perform again soon.
Take care & thank you from the bottom of my heart
— Julie Griffin
