"MeN Do Sing 24 Project" in association with Risca Male Choir
This is an Invitation to "Find Your Voice" by joining a team to support the MND Association. We are committed to raising money for the South East Wales branch of the Motor Neurone Disease Association, who support more than 150 families in our area. The MND Association focus is on improving access to care, research and campaigning for those people living with or affected by MND in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
You don't need to run marathons, climb mountains or cycle across the country. All we need is "Your Voice". We are forming a group of 50 individuals with no previous musical or singing experience required.
You will be put through your paces once a week by our Music Director Matthew James Harrison. Supported by professional musicians you learn to perform 3 songs over a 12 week period starting on 25th February. You will be supplied with digital learning material and tools that you can use throughout your experience, all you require is access to a mobile phone/tablet or PC. You will be supported by a committed group of mentors who will work, train and perform with you throughout the project.
On 18th May 2024 we will be performing in a Gala Choral Performance at a Rougemont School Theatre with other artists. A once in a lifetime experience for everyone involved.
In order to participate we would like you to obtain sponsorship from friends, family and work colleagues and help sell tickets for the event.
Your personal details will not be shared with any third party organisations and will be deleted once the event is completed.
